A Sweet First Day Of School!

Hello beautiful families!

I was pretty nervous today, and it all went great.  Isn't that always the way?  The kids already showed their excitement and interest, ability to try new things, willingness to help others, and so much more! Throughout the year  I will be blogging about the various special events: parties, field trips, Exhibition Night, each month's songs and poems... And so, I thought the first day of school was definitely a special event!  So here are a few images to show how the students were learning in groups, in partnerships and in less formal situations.

I already feel so thankful that each one of them is in our class- they are all so special!  Thank you for sharing your lovely children with us.

Have a beautiful night,

Reading the cards with the morning share on them.

Dancing to learn everyone's names.

Showing how you could ask a friend to play.

Journaling about our summer experiences.

Coming together to share with a partner about your work.

Beautiful connections!

Such a Sweet Back To School Night!

Wow!  What a lovely night!  I feel so lucky to have such dedicated and excited families.  Thank you all for coming out to meet and see the class.  Tomorrow I am going to read all your parent surveys and enjoy getting to know more about your children.

*Please make sure to read the two handouts as they have important and helpful info.  Also, please use the class supplies list tab above here to help you see what to bring.

If you are interested in donating a book or game for the class- check out our class wish list on amazon, to the left of this post!

I will sign off for now, but will leave you with photos from my travels and to share a little of my background (just in case you missed them in class).

I look forward to getting to know all of you this year and am so intrigued to learn more about your sweet children.  Lots of love, Jennifer
